If these values are confirmed and taking into account the average prices in force during this week at the national level, according to the data provided by the Directorate General of Energy and Geology, a liter of 95 straight petrol should average 1667 euros, while a simple diesel should cost 1620 Euro.
Rising commodity prices in international markets account for much of this increase in fuel costs. Meanwhile, yesterday the government announced that it would keep fiscal measures in January to keep the cost of fuel at a more acceptable level for consumers.
According to the Ministry of Finance, from Monday, the reduction in the tax burden will be 35.9 cents per liter for diesel fuel and 32.5 cents for gasoline.
