The Judicial Police of Braga are investigating the death of the 70-year-old wax man, whose body was found already decomposed in the apartment where he lived, on the 12th floor of building no. 114, Avenida Padre Julio Fragata, in the city center.
Around noon, Sapadores firefighters were called to open the door of an apartment that showed signs of forced entry. Inside was the body of a man, already in a state of decomposition, indicating that the death had occurred more than a week ago.
Authorities examined the scene, and at about 4 p.m. the body was recovered and taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine.
For what CM Signs of aggression were found on the body, and it was believed that murder may have taken place.
In addition, the interior of the apartment was heavily damaged, indicating a possible robbery. However, the fact that the door is locked opens up other avenues of investigation.
