The public petition to remove Fernando Madureira as a player for FC Porto is no longer active for collecting signatures as of this Wednesday. Before it was removed, it had over 12,000 signatures received in less than 24 hours.
The text referred to the “inappropriate behavior” of a Super Dragões fan, which caused “damage to the image of the club.”
On Monday, the general assembly of the Porto football club had to be canceled and postponed to November 20 due to attacks on those present. The petition appeared a day after the disrespect and concerned “disrespect for other partners” and “insults” against Fernando Madureira.
This Wednesday newspaper Write down said the club’s bylaws review could fail and cancel the November 20 General Assembly.
