Two men suspected of robberies in Valence and Ponte de Lima have been arrested in Spain.

Spanish authorities have arrested two 28-year-old men suspected of being part of a ring that carried out 26 violent robberies in Galicia and Portugal.

According to a statement from the Nigran Bayona Civil Guard, quoted by the Galician daily Telemariñas, the last suspect was detained in Vigo. He is a registered individual suspected of belonging to a larger gang that has carried out dozens of violent robberies at gas stations and other criminal establishments in several locations in Spain, as well as in Portugal.

On the 8th, Spanish authorities arrested another man suspected of belonging to a criminal group.

The group allegedly carried out robberies in the cities of Valence and Ponte de Lima. In a joint operation between the Civil Police of Guadia and the National Police, two hammers and other tools used in robberies were seized, as well as bottles with a suction device for stealing fuel. In the same vehicle, authorities seized documentation related to the thefts in Portugal.
