The Disciplinary Board (CD) of the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) initiated disciplinary proceedings against Benfica and fined the Eagles €15,300 and Sporting €5,480 for the incidents in the 11th round of I League derby.
According to the punishment map released today, the Reds are fined for “the use of explosive or pyrotechnic devices” and inappropriate behavior in public places, as well as “trespassing and public disorder affecting the game.”
Sporting were fined a total of €5,480 for the use of explosive devices and pyrotechnics, as well as for inappropriate behavior of fans, while defender Gonzalo Inacio, who was sent off in the match, was given a one-game penalty.
CD FPF also reports a one-game suspension for Estrela da Amador coach Sergio Vieira, who was sent off against Moreirense and fined €1,224.
