A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted qualified murder that occurred in October in Amadora, in the Lisbon area, next to a nightspot, the Judicial Police (PJ) said on Friday.
The SP said in a statement that the events took place in the early hours of October 16 in the Amador area following a conflict inside a nightclub that continued outside.
According to the joint venture, the man struck the victim, a 37-year-old man, in the neck with a broken bottle, resulting in serious injuries.
The detainee, who already had a criminal record for committing serious crimes against people, was brought to the judicial authorities for the first judicial interrogation, and a preventive measure was applied to him in the form of detention.
