“I am calling for an extension of the truce, which will allow us to provide more assistance to the people of Gaza and release other hostages,” Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). , in Brussels.
During the four days of the truce between Tel Aviv and the movement that controls the Gaza Strip, it was possible to free about 60 hostages, 40 of whom were Israelis (women and children), as well as the release of Palestinians (including minors) who were detained in Israel.
