Monica Silva disappeared almost two months ago in Mourtos, and then a ransom was demanded from the family of the pregnant woman. Monica’s twin sister said CM who received messages via WhatsApp from a Brazilian number asking for a ransom of 500 euros.
The messages mentioned the name “Fernando”. At that time, the Judicial Police (SP) did not take over the investigation, and the name of Fernando Valente, the main suspect in the case, was not made public.
Monica Silva’s sister also says she received a photo of the blonde from behind, which will serve as proof that she was the pregnant woman reported missing.
The family recalled that two workers, Brazilian citizens, who worked for Fernando, were not seen again after Monica was reported missing.
Monica, 33 years old, disappeared on the night of October 3 after leaving her house after undergoing an ultrasound scan. He even called his eldest son and said that he would be home in ten minutes, but did not give any further news.
The judicial police and the family do not believe that Monica is still alive. Attempts have already been made to find the body in several places, namely in a well near the woman’s house and on the banks of the Ria de Aveiro.
