Relatives of a missing pregnant woman in Mourtos point to two new suspects. The two men, Brazilian citizens, worked with Fernando Valente. Monica Silva’s former partner and prime suspect in crimes of qualified murder, desecration of a corpse and aggravated abortion, and father.
According to Monica’s family, the two were not seen again shortly after the pregnant woman disappeared.
The two suspects were seen with Father Fernando in one of the rooms.
Monica, 33, disappeared on the night of October 3 after leaving her house after an ultrasound. He even called his eldest son and said that he would be “home in ten minutes,” but did not give any further news.
The judicial police and the family do not believe that Monica is still alive. An investigation into the body has already been carried out in several places, namely in a well near the woman’s house and on the banks of the Ria de Aveiro.
