The man died this Saturday after he was shot in the area of the 2nd Torrao in Trafaria, Almada.
At 5:15 p.m., GNR received a shots fired alert. The victim was shot in the face and was treated at the scene. She was taken to Garcia de Orta Hospital but died from her injuries.
According to a GNR source, when gardaí arrived on the scene, they found a man lying on the ground with serious injuries, who was treated at the scene and then taken to Garcia and Orta Hospital.
“No suspect has been identified,” a PPR source said, adding that the judicial police are investigating the case.
Eight firefighters from Trafaria, the National Institute of Emergency Medicine (INEM) and the GNR were mobilized to the scene, supported by four vehicles, including an ambulance and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) from the García de Orta Hospital.
