Shooting at the Faculty of Arts Charles University, in Prague was responsible for at least 15 deaths and 24 injuries this Thursday, the agency reported. Reuters. The shooter, a 24-year-old student, has been “determined,” local authorities said.
Police said the shooter’s father was found dead this Thursday.
“Based on initial information, we can confirm that there are dead and injured at the scene,” police said on Platform X, formerly Twitter. The place is surrounded by authorities.
Some students hung out of the university window in an attempt to escape the gunfire. The young woman fell.
Czech Prime Minister Petr Fala canceled his agenda “due to tragic events” and is now heading to Prague, as he wrote on the social network X.
