The head of the Portuguese Foreign Ministry expressed condolences in connection with the shocking events in Prague

Foreign Minister João Gomes Craviño expressed condolences to his Czech counterpart Jan Lipavský “on the shocking news coming from Prague,” where at least 15 people were killed in a shooting at a university this Thursday.

“Following the shocking news coming from Prague, the Foreign Minister expressed his condolences to his Czech counterpart, expressing Portugal’s solidarity in the face of this act of violence,” Portuguese diplomacy said in a statement on the social network X.

Czech police announced that 15 people were killed and 25 injured, reducing the number previously released after a man opened fire at Carolina University in Prague and was then shot dead by police.
