The budgets have gone ahead without it having been incorporated into the text no amendments from opposition groups. All of them requested the return of the project to the Government with amendments to the entirety that were rejected by the majority of PNV and PSE-EE.
Thus, for the next financial year, the Basque Government will have 15,025.4 million of spending capacity, 774.7 more than this year, which means a 5.4% increase.
Like all years, Health It is the department that will have the most resources with 4,896.6 million, (246.1 more), which represents a 5.3% increase. The majority, 3,889 million, is for Osakidetza and the budget for pharmaceutical spending is 570 million.
Education It is the second with the most money: 3,672.9 million (190.2 more, a 5.5% increase). The increase in the number of personnel in public centers is 5.4%, and educational concerts grow by 3%, up to 785.9 million.
Work and Employment will have 1,177.4 million and Territorial Planning, Housing and Transportation will have 966.4 million, 190.2 more (a 22.9% increase, the one that grows the most), thanks to the arrival of 180.8 million of European funds that will be allocated to housing programs
