Former director of TAP received compensation in the amount of 1.2 million euros

Teresa López, director of TAP, received a €1.2 million compensation, Camilo Lawrence told Camilo Lawrence this Thursday on CMTV.

The commentator explained that in 2015, with the arrival of David Neeleman and Humberto Pedrosa at TAP, Teresa Lopez was removed from the financial management, where she was for a year (appointed by Fernando Pinto), becoming vice president of the financial department. .

In 2016, the state acquired 50% of TAP’s share capital, but the company was still run by the private sector, and David Neeleman decided to replace Teresa Lopez with a younger man with a different profile. It was under these circumstances that TAP paid him 1.2 million euros in compensation, according to Miguel Relvas on TVI.

Teresa Lopez, who has been with TAP for 34 years, remained as a management consultant until 2020.
