Metro Bilbao will eliminate the 20% discount on occasional tickets starting January 14

This has been decided by the general council of the Bizkaia Transport Consortium. Now, to know what price the metro ticket will be, we need to know what the Spanish Government will do regarding the 30% discount that has been applied during 2023 to public transport. The decision will be made today, in the Council of Ministers.

In this way, the general council of the CTB decided yesterday to keep the 50% discount in force on all Metro Bilbao trips only until January 13, in compensation for the discount not applied in the first days of July 2023. the next day, January 14, will eliminate the 20% discount in everything that is not a temporary rate.
