Lisbon IPO marks 100 years of cinema

Two daily sessions are scheduled, preceded by a presentation by the IPO medical professional. There will also be discussion panels. Among the films shown, a highlight is the short documentary film directed by António López Ribeiro in 1952, “A Luta Contra o Cancro em Portugal,” which will be screened at the opening of Valérie Donzelli’s “La guerre est déclarée.”

Also on display will be “Metamorphoses of Birds” by Catarina Vasconcelos, “Corpus Notre” by Claire Simon, “The Farewell” by Lulu Wang, “Diario Caro” by Nanni Moretti and “Love Story” by Nanni Moretti.
