According to Porto PSP, the man was traveling in a luxury Porsche worth €83,000, which had been seized since May last year after it was reported stolen through breach of trust. In other words, the man took it from a rental car and never returned it, deactivating the vehicle’s tracking system.
On December 22, in Porto, he showed someone a fake Rolex, convincing him that it was real and worth 23 thousand euros. The victim accepted the exchange for his real Rolex (16 thousand euros) and 7 thousand euros in cash. The fraudster was caught in a jewelry store in Barcelos with four watches (47 thousand euros), two mobile phones and 400 euros in cash.
