Sp. Braga kept 2nd place in the League by winning 2-1 this Saturday in Pacos de Ferreira in a game that Ricardo Horta didn’t count for (he was injured the day before). The Arsenalists scored Banza’s winning goal in the eighth minute of stoppage time in a match full of emotion.
Pasens entered better and saw Guedes hit the crossbar in the 14th minute. Shortly thereafter, referee Claudio Pereira sent off Sequeira for a tackle on Juan Delgado, but, warned by VAR, changed his mind and only showed a yellow card to the Braga defender.
Goals were scored in the 2nd half. On 58′ Vitinya put Sp. Braga had the advantage, assisted by Abel Ruiz, but 10 minutes later Pacos equalized with Jordan’s goal. Sp. Braga returned to the load, saw the failure of Yuri Medeiros in the face of Marathon, but almost at the end of the game Banza’s individual play in the Pasens zone led to the winning goal of the Minho team.
