The editors of the newspapers Jornal de Notícias, TSF, O Jogo and Diário de Notícias, owned by the Global Media Group (GMG), approved the strike on January 10.
The union called on all journalists to take part in a protest in solidarity with Global Media from 14:00 to 15:00.
