The 15-year-old who went missing in Santarem was found trying to force open the metro gate at Oriente station in Lisbon last Thursday. PSP confiscated a replica firearm, a stolen cell phone and 75 euros.
According to the PSP statement, police questioned the minor after they saw him breaking into a subway gate.
“When asked about his citizen’s ID and it was confirmed that he was a minor, the young man became impatient and nervous and asked if he had anything illegal, he voluntarily removed a replica firearm from his shirt pocket.” can be read.
The young man had with him a cell phone that he had stolen from his father, and the amount of 75 euros left after withdrawing 250 euros from his parents’ account.
After the minor was taken to the police station, it turned out that his mother had filed a missing person report in Santarem.
