Princess of Wales Kate Middleton underwent abdominal surgery on Tuesday and will remain in hospital for at least ten to 14 days before returning home to continue her recovery.
According to a statement from At Kensington Palace, the princess is not ready to appear in public until Easter. The royal family hopes the public will understand Kate’s desire to remain as normal and stable as possible for her children and that medical information will remain confidential.
The Palace will provide additional health information when the information is deemed relevant.
