On Monday morning, a man stole an expensive mobile phone from the restaurant Lar do Motorista in Señora da Ora in Matosinhos.
The man entered the establishment around 10:30, taking advantage of a moment of low activity from customers and employees. The suspect walked to the cash register, took the equipment and quickly left the restaurant.
The man was discovered in the afternoon on Joaquim Gomez Street, Fanceres, Gondomar, by the local GNR.
Guards responded to the incident by rescuing an injured person from the Gondomar fire station. Fânzeres GNR, following the man’s aggressive behavior, realized that he had a stolen mobile phone.
The suspect has been arrested and will be present in Matosinhos’ court. The equipment was received by GNR from its rightful owner.
