North Korea said this Sunday that the Russian president has expressed a desire to visit the country in the near future in response to an invitation from leader Kim Jong Un, the official KCNA news agency reported this Sunday.
According to KCNA, Vladimir Putin announced his intention to North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Song-hee during her visit to Russia on January 15-17.
Chow’s visit to Moscow, which included meetings with Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, came “at a time when relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries have finally entered into a new comprehensive development,” the state said. The agency further stated.
