The price comparison and “marketplace” company said in a statement that the new platform, called Kabaz, which is the culmination of two years of research and development (R&D), will identify the supermarket that has a cheaper shopping list and optimize it. savings for consumers if they decide to split their purchases between supermarkets where prices are lower.

Product prices are updated multiple times a day to “increase convenience, price transparency and informed decision making,” and budget planning can be optimized by tracking price trends.

In addition to being able to compare the total basket between supermarkets and analyze the total value of the basket at each supermarket, Kabaz allows you to maximize savings by sharing similar items.

Prices are available by location to adapt to users’ local reality, and other features such as history and price alert will be introduced in the future.

According to data provided to Lusa, Kabaz’s modeling, based on a list of 30 supermarket products, “revealed a variety of prices charged across hypermarkets”, with the total cost of this shopping list ranging from 94.12 across the different establishments analyzed. euro, 98.05 euro, 100.10 euro and 123.15 euro.
