The Authority for Labor Conditions (ACT) announced this Thursday that it has notified 9,699 companies to regularize the employment of a total of 17,701 employees with fake green slips.
We are talking about workers who are supposedly independent, but are economically dependent, that is, they are service providers who provide 80% or more of their activities to one business entity.
According to the government body, notified companies now have until February 16 to settle their respective employment relationships, from service contracts to employment contracts.
“After this period, AST will conduct a new review of the correctness of labor relations and job retention, initiating an appropriate verification action to ensure compliance with current legislation if the situation has not been resolved within the specified period,” the statement explains.
This precarious work measure, included in the Decent Work Agenda, is the result of cross-referencing data with Social Security data and aims to streamline labor relations, “ensuring that obligations are effectively met and workers benefit from rights commensurate with their actual employment situation ” ” ACT said, adding that he said he had also informed 17,701 workers of the notice sent to the organization for which they provide services.
