GNR investigates fire at bins and bus stop in Barreiro

The GNR is investigating reports from several witnesses who claim to have seen a group of ten people setting fire to rubbish bins and a bus stop late Saturday night in Vila Cha, Barreiro.

An official source at GNR said: CM “that between 22:40 and 22:50 on Saturday, several fires were recorded in garbage bins (three were completely destroyed) in the streets of Algarve, António Aleixo and Extremadura.” “In fact, the GNR received a report that a group had been spotted walking around the streets setting fire to rubbish bins. We are investigating,” he adds.

ABOUT CM It also turned out that at least one bus stop was engulfed in flames. Volunteer firefighters from the south and southeast of Barreiro extinguished the fire and no one was injured.
