Two minors were arrested on suspicion of gagging and killing their mother on Wednesday in Castro Urdiales, Spain.
According to the Spanish press, The 48-year-old woman was found gagged in her car at night, the whereabouts of her two children are unknown.
Agents suspected the 14-year-old juvenile and his brother from an early age, mobilizing resources to find suspects in the crime. Police initially considered a gender-based violence crime scenario, but rejected this option.
Two boys were detained after lengthy searches on suspicion that one of them was the perpetrator of the crime.
Information about the incident was transferred to the prosecutor’s office for minors.
