US President Joe Biden “intentionally” withheld and published classified documents while he was a citizen without public office, the Justice Department said this Thursday, adding that this does not lead to charges being brought against him or third parties.
Special Counsel Robert Gur’s report, released Thursday, is a scathing assessment of Biden’s handling of sensitive government information on military and foreign policy matters related to Afghanistan and other sensitive national security issues.
“Our investigation found that President Biden intentionally concealed and disclosed classified material after his vice presidency, when he became a private citizen,” Hurr wrote.
