Marco Orelhas, his son Renato, his son-in-law Paulo Cardoso and four other defendants will begin trial in the death of Igor Silva this Thursday. The hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. at the Sao Joao Novo court in Porto. The crime is dated May 2022.
Igor Silva was stabbed 18 times outside Porto’s Dragao stadium during title celebrations.
The wife and daughter of “Orelhas” are accused in this case, but for assault on physical integrity. They are accused of attacking a young woman who tried to help Igor.
Some defendants have already begun to arrive in court. Igor Silva’s mother is also in court but will not be able to enter.
