A student flies to class to save on rent.

Tim Chen is a student at the University of the Arts in Vancouver, Canada. To live in Calgary and flies to classes twice a week. According to the channel, the young man lived in Vancouver, but due to high rents in the city, he had to return to his parents’ house in Calgary. KTV News.

Tim spends around €820 a month on airfare, but when he lived in Vancouver he spent double that.

According to the TV channel, every Tuesday and Thursday the student flies on an Air Canada flight to Vancouver. You pay €103 for each round trip and make eight trips per month.

The airline has now created a pass for students traveling from Canada and nearby countries such as the US, Brazil and several Asian countries. The goal is to travel by plane more quickly and economically between the cities in which they live and the university. The pass costs €733 for students living in Calgary, the same as Tim Chen.
