Alexei Navalny’s mother has already received her son’s body

The body of Alexei Navalny was handed over to his mother, said the press secretary of Putin’s main opponent, Kira Yarmysh.

“Alexey’s body was handed over to his mother. Thank you very much to everyone who demanded this from us,” you can read on the account on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Kira Yarmysh said that it is not yet known what the funeral will be like and whether the authorities will “interfere” in its conduct.

The press secretary of Putin’s main opponent assured that as soon as information appears, it will be provided.

Russian authorities told Alexei Navalny’s mother on Friday that her son will be buried in the prison where he died unless the woman agrees to bury him within three hours without holding a public funeral.
