Access to e-invoicing features on the Financial Portal is experiencing difficulties as taxpayers attempting to verify their accounts are unable to do so “due to technical reasons”.
“For technical reasons, we are unable to respond to your request. Please try again later,” reads a message appearing on the personal pages of many taxpayers who tried to verify their accounts this Monday morning, as this is the last day to do so.
On Monday, there was a high level of access to e-invoices, which may cause taxpayers to have difficulty checking accounts, admits the Tax and Customs Service, which guarantees that there are no records of the service being unavailable.
“Due to the end of the invoice classification period, the level of access to the e-invoice was high, and no unavailability of the service was recorded,” says an official Tax and Customs Authority (AT) source in response to Lusa: after several taxpayers reported difficulties with checking your accounts.
AT acknowledges that “the reported situations may be due to such a high volume of claims” as today is the deadline for taxpayers to confirm their 2023 accounts.
Verifying accounts is one of the necessary steps in preparing your annual IRS return as this Monday is the final deadline day for taxpayers to verify, file or resolve outstanding accounts.
