A 17-year-old man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old child at a home in Chavez.
According to the Judicial Police (PJ), the child was sexually abused by his stepfather’s son for about a year.
“The Department of Criminal Investigations of Vila Real SP received a report on the same day from the Commission for the Protection of Children and Youth (CPCJ), which reported that a 12-year-old child had been sexually abused for a year. the son of his stepfather,” the joint venture said in a statement sent to the editorial office.
A detainee who has no criminal record will be subject to judicial interrogation with a view to applying coercive measures.
