North American singer Marc Anthony will make his Portugal debut with a concert at the MEO Arena in Lisbon on June 26, the promoter announced this Thursday.
A statement released by The Last Tour called Anthony “the best-selling salsa artist of all time and a true ambassador for Latin music and culture.”
The actor’s official biography is filled with many numbers: 50 songs on the first line of the Billboard ratings, 7.1 billion views on YouTube, six-time Grammy Award winner.
“Since releasing his first salsa album, Otra Nota (1993), his albums have broken sales and chart records. His third album, “Contra La Corriente”, became the first salsa album to enter the Billboard 200. His latest album, “Contra La Corriente”, became the first salsa album to enter the Billboard 200. “Pa’llá Voy” (2022), his thirteenth (eleventh in Spanish), was released by his own label Magnus/Sony Latin Music,” the promoter added.
Tickets are already on sale on the Last Tour and Fever Up websites, ranging in price from 55 to 180 euros.
