One of the programs for monitoring legislative elections in CMTVentitled “Elections – the decision”, broadcast from 21.56 to 29 o’clock at night, attracted more viewers than the RTP1 special program at the same time “Legislativas – Novo Parliament”.
Release CMTV received an average audience of 423,900 viewers at this time (21:56-00:29), corresponding to a share of 10.8%, and beat the broadcast on channel RTP 1, which at that time attracted only 376 thousand viewers, equivalent to 9. 5% share.
For the first time in history CMTV that the election broadcast receives more audience than the universal free channel and, therefore, the state channel.
