The judge in the case refuses to release Fernando Madureira, leader of the support group Super Dragões, and the behavior of his wife Sandra may have contributed to the court’s refusal to place Fernando under house arrest.
Sandra showed contempt for the coercive measures imposed by Judge Pedro Miguel Vieira. In addition to the obligation to report to the police station closest to her home three times a week, Sandra is prohibited from contacting by any means, including written messages, with any participant in the process or member of the management of Super Dragoins. Now Fernando Madureira’s wife has commented on at least one post by “Lipinho”, who leads the support group at Porto games in Macaco’s absence.
At the first interrogation during Operation Praetorian, the investigating judge admitted that he could change the preventive measure if Fernando Madureira changed his address, unless there was social anxiety or disruption of the investigation. A social report was requested, Fernando Madureira provided an address outside Greater Porto, but the judge decided to keep Madureira in preventive custody.
