More than 82 thousand young people have already applied for the government-funded salary supplement for obtaining bachelor’s or master’s degrees. The deadline for completing the ePortugal access form began on February 22 and ends on May 31.
Tuition fee refunds are paid annually by Revenue and Customs to the IBAN number registered with the Financial Services Authority and are not subject to IRS or social security contributions. The payment decision will be communicated by the Ministry of Finance by the end of July after verification by DGES, if meets academic requirements. Once your order has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. To receive annual bonuses, simply claim the first time as the Tax Authority will continue to pay the rest, subject to compliance with the mandatory requirements.

That is, for a three-year degree, those who graduated in 2020 will only be eligible for the bonus this year, but if they graduated in 2021, they will be able to receive €697 in 2024 and 2025. Remember that you cannot be older than 35 years.
