Bilbobus employees approved this Wednesday in assembly support a 24-hour indefinite strike, from Monday to Friday, starting next April 9, to demand the renewal of their agreement, according to sources from the works council.

The agreement of the workers of the concessionaire company of the municipal bus service of the Bilbao City Council expired in 2021, the year since which their salary has been frozen.
In the consultation held throughout this day, the workers had to choose to support an indefinite strike of four hours a day, or 24 hours.
In the end, 230 employees have opted for the 24-hour strike, compared to 173 who have opted for the indefinite strike of four hours a day. There was one blank vote and three null votes.
