The information was provided in the afternoon by CNN and confirmed to Luse by a source from the municipal police of Oeiras, who said that “the situation is being monitored by civil protection and they are trying to find out the cause of the release,” in the incident recorded in the area of the Powder Factory.
“They are still waiting for confirmation [da origem da descarga], is under investigation. Everything points to the presence of a discharge. There is a significant amount of dead fish,” said the same municipal police source, based on information provided so far by the municipality’s Civil Protection Service.
