A French couple on holiday in Madeira went missing on Saturday in Situio do Callau, Sao Vicente. The daughter alerted authorities after she decided to stay in the house while her parents went for a walk.

According to information provided by PSP, the 58-year-old man is 1.80 meters tall and was wearing a gray jacket and sweatpants on the last day he was seen. The 56-year-old woman, about 1.70 meters tall, was wearing a blue sports jacket and carrying a pink backpack.
Authorities launched a search operation at the scene.
