Portugal beat Sweden 5-2 today in the first match of their preparations for the 2024 European Football Championship at the Estadio D. Afonso Henriques in Guimarães.
Rafael Lean (24 minutes), Matheus Nunez (33), Bruno Fernandes (45), Bruma (57) and Gonçalo Ramos (61) sealed the Portuguese triumph, while Lion Victor Gyokeres (58) and Gustav Nilsson , on 90, scored for the Swedes.
Quinas, who recorded their 11th triumph in 11 games under Spaniard Roberto Martinez, will play again on Tuesday in Ljubljana against Slovenia, having played three more games in June before the Euro 2024 finals.
