On April 2, 3 and 4, Bizkaia Uber drivers are called to strike due to the “blocking” of the agreement negotiation.
Uber drivers in Bizkaia will carry out three days of strike on April 2, 3 and 4 to try to unblock the negotiation of the agreement, which expired on December 31, 2023.
As explained by the ELA union, after a year of meetings with the company to try to ensure that “minimums are respected” in the working conditions of the employees, as well as to ensure that labor legislation is complied with in some aspects, they have encountered the company’s refusal “again and again.”
The union explains that the negotiation “has been blocked” since the expiration of the agreement in December 2023.
During the first day of the strike, on Tuesday, a rally will be held in Bilbao, together with the Basque Government, at 11:00.
