Five foreign nationals and 138,000 doses of cocaine were seized at Lisbon airport in recent days as a result of an investigation into drug trafficking originating in the Latin American country, PJ reported on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Judicial Police (JP), in four separate investigations conducted by the JP’s National Anti-Narcotics Unit (UNCTE), one of which in collaboration with the Internal Revenue Service, the seized cocaine was found in possession. detainees hidden in luggage and inside bodies.
The detainees, aged from 21 to 30 years old, were subjected to the first judicial interrogation, and a preventive measure was applied to them in the form of preventive detention.
