Magazine Forbes published a list of new billionaires for 2024, adding 256 new people to the group. There are currently more than 2,700 billionaires in the world.
34-year-old singer Taylor Swift entered the list with an estimated net worth of $1.100 million (about 1.021 million euros). The artist became a multimillionaire last October after The Eras Tour grossed an estimated $1.04 billion from just its first 60 shows, according to Pollstar estimates cited by the publication. The list of new billionaires also includes former North American basketball player Magic Johnson, 64, who made his fortune in businesses outside of sports; Livia Voigt, a psychology student who, at just 19, became the world’s youngest multimillionaire after inheriting her grandfather’s fortune; and Shunsaku Sagami, founder and CEO of an artificial intelligence consulting company.
Anil Gupta, Nicholas Hawley, Sofia Högberg Scherling and her sister Martha Scherling Andreen, Andrea Pignataro and Christian Louboutin are the other names on the magazine’s new list. Forbes.
