A young man, 16 years old, and an adult, 57 years old, died this Saturday after the car in which they were traveling fell into the water in Povoa de Varzim. Members of the Povoa de Varzim fire department, INEM, maritime police and a team of divers were present at the scene. Only at dawn, due to visibility, was it possible to get to the car, since visibility conditions made it difficult to act.
Using a crane, operators managed to remove the sunken car and find the victims. The bodies will be taken to the Institute of Forensic Medicine of Porto.
