Hollywood star Jonathan Majors, 34, is due to be sentenced next Monday after he was found guilty of attacking his girlfriend in the back of an SUV. The actor has been charged with third-degree assault and second-degree stalking, Reuters reports.
The actor became famous for the 2019 films “The Last Black Man in San Francisco,” “Creed III” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.” However, legal problems led to the severance of the actor’s relationship with Marvel Studios.
According to Reuters, the criminal case stems from an argument in a rental car in March 2023 that left Jonathan’s then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari with a broken finger, a swollen hand and an ear.
The woman testified that the actor attacked her after she grabbed his cellphone and saw a text message with another woman, twisting her arm behind her back and hitting her in the head.
Grace Jabbari also testified that Jonathan had a “violent temper” and that he “exploded” in anger on other occasions.
The actor’s lawyer said Grace attacked Jonathan and falsely accused him of assault after they ended their relationship.
