The workers of the Bizkaia sports centers have called ten new days of strike for the months of April and May, as reported by the ELA union. More than 2,000 people work in this sector of Bizkaia, through subcontracting of the service.
ELA has recalled that the agreement expired on December 31, 2022 “and the negotiation, without sufficient content, is taking too long.”
As he pointed out, after the strikes carried out since December, the staff have decided to intensify their mobilizations between the days April 10 and 13, April 15 and 16 and from May 7 to 10.
On the first day, April 10, the mobilizations will extend to the regions and protests are planned at the La Casilla sports center in Bilbao, Las Llanas de Sesto, Urreta de Galdakao and Zalla, as well as before the Town councils of Sopelana, Elorrio, Derio and Leioa and Elorrio.
