PSP Vila Nova de Gaia arrested a 31-year-old man who showed signs of alcoholism and was caught red-handed attacking his 25-year-old sister and damaging her car.
A police source said CM that the intervention occurred at 2:30 am on Thursday on Rua Candido Vitor Oliveira, a non-residential artery in the parish of Valadares, where there is only one logistics center. The warning was issued by drivers who contacted PSP by telephone. Upon arrival, agents also witnessed the suspect behaving aggressively and verbally assaulting his sister. The man went to the scene to take the victim home.
The woman’s car still showed signs of damage. During the PSP intervention, the man pushed the agents, threatening and insulting them. No agents were harmed.
The suspect was immediately detained and taken to the police station, from where he will go to appear in court.
