The body of one of the two Nepalese shellfish collectors who went missing on Saturday evening in Cais do Seixalinho, in Montijo, was found this Sunday morning. NCIS, with support from Montijo volunteer firefighters, continues to search for a second missing person.
The shellfish gatherers disappeared around 8:30 p.m., but the alarm was only raised by a third man at about 10:45 p.m. For what CM Early morning searches were conducted on water and on land using a NCIS vessel and an Air Force helicopter, said Luis Silva, commander of the Montijo Volunteer Fire Department. However, due to sea conditions, work was suspended.
The investigation resumed this Sunday morning with nine operators working on four machines. A drone is also involved in the search. The judicial police were called.
