Israel’s Foreign Minister announced on Tuesday that he was launching a “diplomatic offensive against Iran” following Saturday’s attack by the Islamic Republic and despite opposition from many states to Israel’s military response.

To that end, Katz said, he sent a letter to “32 countries” and spoke with “dozens of foreign ministers and figures from around the world.”
The Israeli minister, however, did not specify which countries he asked to impose sanctions against this militant organization of the Islamic Republic, which is already listed as a terrorist organization by the United States and is subject to EU sanctions.
“We must stop Iran now before it is too late,” he stressed.
On Monday evening, Israeli Army Chief of Staff Gen. Herzi Halevi vowed to “respond” to the attack, despite calls from many countries, including its North American ally, to avoid escalating the conflict in the Middle East. East, where there is already a war in the Gaza Strip.
